Question about 2001 Ford Windstar
I have a 2001 ford winstar and my heater is not working I slide the ac/heater switch to heat and all it does is let out a thumping sound and blow cold air out and it is starting to get cold in the morning

Check coolant in radiator and thermostat function it should open at 195 degreese usualy no heat means no or low coolant or vac hose to heater control valve

You need to look at the water heater valve if it is opening or not. it should allow hot water from the radiator to flow to the inside of the car and the air will blow on the heater core...
maybe the valve is stucked close
i hope i was able to fix ur problem...
pls rate me..tnx
