Hyundai Accent 2000

For the past week, my car has stalled at traffic lights while waiting for them to go green and then it is hard to get it started again but it eventually does after about 6 or more tries. One day after driving and leaving the car in the car park it would not start again. What would be the problem?

Sounds bad try turning the engine over with the spark plugs out. Start looking for a used engine.

99 hyundai accent starts sometimes. not battery

ok when the check engine light comes on that usually indicates a engine malfunction...what you can do is go to your local autozone and they can do an OBDII test for free..my bet says it is the cam or crank sensor.. DO NOT SHUT THE CAR OFF AT AUTOZONE..LOL

I had the exact smae problem and threw aaway a ton of money on bad "guesses" at what was wrong. The actual fix was replacing the crank shaft position sensor for 50 or 60 bucks. Swapped out bad for good and cars has run great every day since.
