In my experience, that has always meant one thing........you have a front or rear signal light out on that side.
:)
Hope that helps!

Ford Focus c max 1.8 petrol idle problems

This can be caused by a defective Maf sensor and coolant sensor, they will not trigger a code because as long as there is a signal the computer doesn't know the actual engine running condition enough to say the signal from the 2 sensors is wrong, this goes double for MAF sensors, another area is the idle speed control motor.. I want you to read about the problem at the link below.

2000 focus temp gauge fluctuate from norm to red when travelling at speed ..but all coolant levels ok and not loosing anything and fan working.

Hello, on your model the Head sensor sends a signal thru a resistor pak and the ECU. If the fan runs on high speed when you turn on the A/C then the resistor pak is good. If the resistor pak is bad neither of the fans will run when the A/C is on. Change the resistor pak.

If the fan runs on high with the A/C on, then the head sensor is not indicating a high temperature condition when the A/C is off. The A/C switch overides the head sensor. The head sensor is on the Passengers' side of the car above the Alternator. The head sensor is not throwing a signal to start the High speed fan. The head sensor is a long pin screwed into the head at that location.

While you say the fan is working, it may not be working well enough because of the head sensor.

Just last week, I noticed that my right turn signal was operating quicker than normal (though only the right one). As of yesterday, the left is operating more quickly as well. NOt sure why... The weather...

Check your lights. Turn on each signal and check the front and rear. A faster signal usually means one of your signal bulbs are out. Once you replace the burned out light it will go back to normal.

I am pretty sure there is a relay bad on my focus for my signals. the left turn signal flashes faster than the right. Which one do i change?

Howdy,
First look for a burned out bulb on the side that flashes faster. Look carefully. Go to the right side that flashes normal and see how many bulbs flash front side and rear. then turn to left side and look, you may find one bulb burned out.
Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!

Where is the turn signal flasher located in the 1997 malibu?

You are looking for (typically) a cylindrical device 1-1 1/2 inches in diameter and 2-2 1/2 inches tall. These can be mounted in any position and often are pushed into a spring clip holder. Most have three male connectors although some may have only two.
