Question about 2001 Honda Civic
I'm the owner of a 2001 civic sedan. It runs well, but this week I did had troubles. First, my gear shifter for the automatic transmition did lock on the Pack. I did open the slot and introduced the key to push down on the thing that did unlock the shifter and I was ready to go.. Ok, now when I arrived home I noticed that I had no turn signal for the left and the right. I looked in the fuse box and found a burned fuse for the signal, and installed a new fuse, 7.5 amp. The signal came back to work. But the shifter still does not unlock from the PARK. Going in town this afternoon I found out that I had no HORN and the cruise control are not working.
Questions 1:----Is there a switch on the brake pedal on the oil side or of any other kind to put the current to the mechanical to let the shifter move?
Question 2:---- Is there a third fuse box? Or, where the horn and the air conditioner connected too, so that I can have them running like they use too?
Well I not a honda guy but I had this problem with my mustang, it turned out the wires had been knocked loose from the boo switch the boo switch is brake on brake off switch.
As far as fuse boxes I'm not really sure however if you boo switch is grounding it could be making an open ground shorting out you electrical system.
Hope this helps.
