THE BLOWER MOTOR FOR THE HEATER/AC SHOULD BE LOCATED ON THE FIREWALL. DEPENDING ON ACCESSORIES, IT CAN BE A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO ACCESS. I SUGGEST YOU GO TO A LOCAL PARTS STORE AND ASK TO USE THEIR "CHILTONS REPAIR MANUAL" (OR PERHAPS YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY), FOR YOUR MAKE AND MODEL OF VEHICLE. THERE SHOULD BE TWO WIRES AND SOME TYPE OF HOSE TO REMOVE AND THEN REMOVE THE THREE SCREWS THAT ATTACH IT TO THE FIREWALL.
IT SHOULD THEN PULL STRAIGHT OUT OF THE FIREWALL FOR REMOVAL. A LITTLE TWISTING OF THE MOTOR TO BREAK THE SEAL IF IT IS NEEDED. AGAIN, I SUGGEST THE CHILTONS MANUAL FIRST, IT WILL BE OF GREAT ASSISTANCE. GOOD LUCK............JLR4

I have a 98 DeVille and the blower motor for the heater/AC doesn't work.

Hey Jeff, you did check fuse in fuse box on driver side,if good and secure, then it may be your blower motor resister,it's located by blower motor, controls the blower motor,if bad it won't run or just on some speeds,if part doesn't fix,Autozone will refund. You can't tell by looking at resister to see if bad. Here's a link to the blower motor resistor,

I can not get the blower motor to come on and there is no power coming to the blower motor

You'll need to replace the blower relay. The part is cheap and a parts house at the dealer will tell you where it is located under the dash. Not too hard to replace.

Blower motor sounds like it is going to stop. how hard is it to replace?

here are the instructions for fan blower removal. remove lower right dash insulator panel from under glove box. slide the body control module aside for access to the blower motor.( bcm ). remove the 3 screws that hold it in. pull the blower motor and fan straight down and dis connect electrical connector. if replacing blower motor, remove fan to put on new motor. 99 olds cutlass, have a good day !! just take your time and it is not that hard.

The location of the blower motor & some body can tell me is not working properly i did change the relay did work for a day but still this morning it quits working

It is on the passangers side of the vehicle. Right under the glove box. I was replacing the one on my vehicle when it stopped working and it was a pain to remove.

Front a/c-heater blower just has off and high speed-for another reason bought another switch (used) and still have the problem with the 1 speed.Could the fan motor be bad?is there an easy way to tell?is...

Check the blower resisotor, I bet it will be burnt up, You'll need to replace the connector if that's the case, along with the reistor. It's the thing bolted into the hvac case right next to the blower motor.

Ac blows harder on norm than max (recurc)

There could be a recirculation vent door, stuck,or the blower motor is bad.Hard to tell .Not being there it is hard to diagnose. But it does sound like both of these symptoms,so I know what to tell you .Maybe more information would help,I don`t know.Rmove the blower motor and inspect it for broken,or cracked fan cage(squirrel cage fan). Also check motor for abnormal play(side to side movement).Hook fan up to battery and see if it runs fast and not vibrating,or noisy.I hope I was some help,If I can help, let me know.
