Question about 2005 Toyota Corolla
It should be changed when/if it become noisey. I would probably replace it at about 250,000 miles otherwise just to be safe, but Toyota has no mileage recommendation for it.

Your 1999 corolla has a timing chain not a belt. No need to replace!

It's past due. But these belts will last up to 120,000 miles. When and if you do the timing belt replace all of the components in there. You only want to do this once. Shop cost is $600.00 to $800.00. Do it yourself about $225.00. If you do it yourself , buy a manual. Lots of important info.
