Look for the brake light switch, it is located under your dash board, beside the brake pedal pivot, or at the end of your brake pedal arm. it is a round metal object with two wire connector sticking out. you may either adjust the nut enough for the pedal to turn off the switch, or if it is grounded. replace the brake light switch.
TELL ME HOW DO I ADJUST THE SWITCH ON THE PEDAL. I LOCATED IT BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ADJUST IT. CAN YOU HELP ME OUT.
THANKS,

My brake lights turn on by themselves. Sometimes when I press the brake and let go, the lights will stay on until I press the brake again. It drains the battery and I constantly need to jump it.
I HAVE A 1998 TOYOTA COROLLA AND MY BRAKE LIGHTS WON'T TURN-OFF IT STAYS ON AND KILLS MY BATTERY. WHAT CAN BE THE PROBLEM?
