Question about 1997 Toyota 4Runner
I have the same problem in my '97 4Runner. I have an automatic transmission and I was told that there is something in the way that the tranmission is linked to the gear selector where in the "P" setting it may be slightly out of the Park gear and so the key is unable to turn. It's not a real fix but on mine if I retract the transmission lever back about a quarter inch it allows the key to turn. I don't know what the "real" fix for it is though.
