Look thru the grill area at the front of the car. You will sea a radiator-looking thingy. This is the coindenser for the A/C system. Look closely for any indentations or holes... Usually, if there is a hole, it will be oily around that area where the hole is. The condenser is very susceptible to getting perforated, and as soon as a hole pierces the aluminum, the gas will escape. The condenser is very difficult to repair, if not impossible.

There is likely an issue with the vent control side of the EVAP system. I am also willing to bet the check engine light has been on since this problem started? This is a complicated system and i would recommend having a shop (either the dealer or an independent shop that you have experience with) take a look at this.

You can replace the horn. Check to see if the wires connected to the horn have power. Check with a test light. If power is present then the horns are bad.

Hi Team, Good Afternoon. I purchased a 2005 Toyota Corolla 1 month ago (Used Car). As soon as I got the car I got the check Engine light. I took the car to Toyota of Irving and they told me that it was...

Did you buy this from a dealer? if so, you should have taken it back ASAP I dont know why you didnt have the Toyota Dealer fix the car, now your in the middle of a mess, getting 2 shops involved, and the car still has a problem. When you bought the car, whoever you bought it from, knew there was a problem, cleared the code and it took a while for the check engine light to come back on. So now you will just have to pay someont to fix the car. The trans shop told you it needed a converter and solenoid, the problem is still there, so make it their problem. I think you need someone who knows toyota . theres no recall that I know of. Recalls are free, anyhow. . ecm is warranteed 8 years or 80k miles. Have the dealer check it out. Have them Check Bulletin TC008-04 and T-SB-0378-08

Maintenance required light blinks every time i turn on my toyota corolla 2005 and i had oil changed at toyota service station?

Hi, it is possible it may require other schedualed services and you are being reminded. However to reset for the oil change you need to have the key off. press and hold down the milage trip reset button and turn the key on. After five seconds the odometer reads "0000000" and the light goes off. If this does not reset then let me know. There is a longer procedure for reseting the other maint services required.

My check engine light came on. Took it to Toyota dealership in KC, MO and was told that my car needed a new computer. Is this common for a 2005 Corolla LE with 86,000 highway miles? Is there any recourse...

Check Engine light 2005 Toyota Corolla

He can't hit a switch and turn on the Check Engine Light, however there are several dozen ways a shoddy mechanic can cause that Light to come on.
Two things you can do is:
1. Disconnect the negative side of the battery and wait about 30-minutes before reconnecting. Check to see if that Light comes back. If not great! If it does:
2. Find out why the Check Engine Light is on. There should be a code that the computer has set. Take it to Autozone or other auto parts stores, where they can hook your vehicle up (for free) to a DRB Scan Tool to eloborate or extrapolate what the Code(s) are.
The real question is if the work the mechanic did caused this. Have their work checked.

Air cndition 2005 corolla

Hi. In order to find the leak, technicians use a device to find freon gas leaks throughout the system, I really don't know the price of the device, but it really works. And depending on where they find the leak ( hose, elbows, screws, assemblies, pump, etc.) they repair. It could range from $200-$800 or more on repairs. If you can find the device and buy it, it's really worth it, and you can do it yoourself because it's not difficult at all. Just make sure when you replace everything, Put one can of R134a gas with lube, so you can lubricate the parts, and the rest with normal R134a.
