Question about 2005 Toyota Corolla
Airconditioning system in my 2005 Corolla stop working two days ago. I took it to service station and told me that I have a hole that allows the cooling gas to scape. But they did faie to show me the leak.
My question is as how could I detect this hole and can it be repair with out spending $500 as it was requested by service atation. Thanks for yout help
Look thru the grill area at the front of the car. You will sea a radiator-looking thingy. This is the coindenser for the A/C system. Look closely for any indentations or holes... Usually, if there is a hole, it will be oily around that area where the hole is. The condenser is very susceptible to getting perforated, and as soon as a hole pierces the aluminum, the gas will escape. The condenser is very difficult to repair, if not impossible.
