Question about 1998 Porsche Boxster
My '98 boxster has the same issue. When it happens, I gently turn the key back about an eighth of an inch, and everything works fine. It's a fairly common problem. I forget the exact cause - a worn pi in the ignition cylinder or something like that. An additional symptom is that the headlights don't come on - just the 'city lighgts'.
