Question about 2002 Toyota ECHO

1 Answer

Starting problem If my 2002 Echo sits for more than 8 hours it is very difficult to get started. I make sure that it is started every 4 to 6 hrs. Is it a fuel filter/pump problem? appr.175,000miles on the car. Where can I get a fuel pump assembly at a reasonable price? Thank you. Shirley

You could have a faulty fuel pressure regulator of a bad CSFI. Here is a link you may interest you to getting your Suburban running 100% again soon.

In my opinion it is caused by having too little gas in the tank. You are not suppose to run it it with that little gas anyways because it is bad for your car since all the contaminants can be sucked into the injectors and cause all kinds of problem.

Sounds like the idle air control valve. Fuel filter, plugs and wires, could also be the fuel injectors. Take it to Auto Zone they will diagnoses it for free. .
