How do I remove a stripped lug nut from an oil pan on a 2003 Ford Windstar

Need a pic to be able to help you. I'd soak it with PB BLASTER or Liquid Wrench penetrating oil, then hit the surrounding boss, not the oil plug, with a propane torch for a few seconds.
Sometimes you can drive the next smaller socket(metric onto SAE or vice-versa) onto the plug.
A shop can weld a new bolthead to it and get a fresh grip. Unhook both battery cables, unplug the computer, and ground the car body if welding is done. At least that's what I'd do. don-ohio (:^)

How to take off a stuck idler arm. I tried a puller & hammer no luck. It is frozen stiff. Any help/ ideas is GREATLY APPRECIATED.

If your trying to remove the pitman arm, the one that is attached to the gear box, than sometimes you just have to use a torch to heat them up.

Can't get the top bolt out for removal and replacement

If you have a propane torch handy and the bolt it is located where you can heat it w/o burning something important, heat it really well then give it a try. If not, head down to the parts store for some penetrating oil like PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench and let it sit for a few hours / overnight.

Hope this helps.

Harmonic balancer pully bolt will not loosen

Hi,Try some pb-blaster bolt remover(you can get it at any automotive parts store,auto-zone and will have to sit awhile) but if it will still not break loose you will have to either use a impact wrench or heat it up with a plumbers propane bottle torch and remove it that way...good luck

Getting the front discs off

most of the time they are just rusted to the wheel hub. soak it down with wd 40 or pb blaster than, with a really good eye take a hammer and hit between the lug nuts. the rotor should free up with just a few solid hits.
good luck chris

Bolts

Here's the best way to remove any stubborn bolts:

1.) Use a propane torch. You can get one at Wal-Mart for about $20. Just heat up bolt and it should come off. You have have to heat and let it cool a couple of times.

2.) You can spray PB Blaster on the bolt. You can get PB Blaster at Wal-Mart or almost any auto parts store.

Thanks,
Andrew

I have been trying to brake the star bolt loose to change my brakes and rotors on my 92 chevy lumina. I have tried pb blaster and w/d 40 with no results. Please advise my best solution.

Yours has rusted in place. Spray your PB Blaster and tap the bolt at the same time. This works the penetrant into the threads better. Try this a few times. If no luck, you may have to drill the bolt out and get the rest of it out with a stud remover. I've been where you're at before. Also you can try to put heat on if from a torch. If you try that, be sure you clean off oil really well.
