95 mustange gt brake light dont work check #9 fuses change all bulbs replaced switch on brake pedal hazards lights works ,parking or running lights works, turning signal lights works, what other places i...

I assume the fuse has power if the hazards work.
The third brake light skips the turn signal switch, the regular brake light circuit goes thru the turn signal switch.
Do you have power going into the turn signal switch on the red lite green wire from the brake switch ?

My additional brake light is not working i have tested the brake unit and that works is there a seperate fuse for this or is it all on one fuse for all the brake lights

The third or High Mounted Brake Light runs straight off the brake light switch on the brake pedal arm. You say you tested the "brake unit"? I assume you mean the third brake light assembly, and if you get power there when someone steps on the brake pedal, then the bulbs are bad.

The power flow for the brake lights goes like this: Fuse ->Brake switch -> Turn signal switch -> Rear lights. The only difference is, if you have a 3rd brake light in your rear window, that gets its power directly from the brake switch. It does not go thru the signal switch first. So, if you are having a brake light problem, and your fuses are good, check the 3rd light in the rear window, if it lights up (assuming the bulbs are good, no one ever changes them), then the problem is most likely in the turn signal switch, hope this helps!

Got a third brake light but others dont work

Third brake light is on a differnt wrie then the turn signals on the truck. This is so it doesn't blink like your turn/brake lights do. Your fuse panel in the truck houses the fuses for the brake and turns on the truck .The fuse panel in the engine compartment houses the fuses for the trailer brake and turn. Check your fuses in the panel below your steering column for blown fuses and also check your rear bulbs as i have seen both burnt out at the same time. otherwise check your wiring harness right behind the last crossmember on the left side up by the spare tire. Sometimes they get corroded there at the connections.

My brake lights and rear directional signals do not work on my 2006 Ford Five Hundred. I can't find a fuse? Any ideas?

The fuse panel is located under the instrument panel to the left of the steering wheel. The brake lights are on fuse F18. It is the one on the bottom, all the way to the right hand side. That column has the most fuses in it. There are 7 total in that line. Good luck

I have a 2001 Ford F150, my brake lights dont work. Ive replaced the bulbs, checked the fuses, and the brake switch on side of the brake pedal was replaced. I still dont have any brake lights. My third brake light works fine, along with my running lights, flashers, blinkers.
