-   Even when I;m not pushing the gas, the RPM's will go up to 1500. when I put it in park, it will spike as high as 2300. It also happens intermittently, so no one at a shop can ever figure it out. -   yomommasrex

-   idle races sounds like you have the gas pedal pushed all the way. It will go without pushing gas pedal as if you have the cruze control on.-   Guest
