If i am not mistaken, half of the plugs are on the bottom of motor, follow the plug wires, they'll take you right down to them...
if you have a sideways motor, i think they're all on the passenger side, about midway down.

The engine light is flashing on my 2000 chrysler 300m...what could be the problem?

The check engine light is telling you the computer has a problem with a sensor or the overall performance is below standard.
You should have the computer scanned for trouble codes to proceed.
Most auto parts stores will scan for free with the hopes you will buy some parts.
Let us know what the trouble codes are.

1997 chrysler LHS ..turns over but will not start..i have changed spark plugs and took coil off and had checked ata local advance auto..they say coil is good..also ckecked fuses both inside and...

If you haven't done it already, it would be time for me to check fuel supply.
Have you actually seen a spark from the coil or a plug wire? I would pull a plug or the coil wire, position it to spark to any ground point and then crank the engine. If no spark, then either the computer isn't issuing a signal for it or the coil wire itself is bad. They are carbon-coated fabric and subject to die.
If you find spark, you will need to break the fuel line at some point to find if the pump is working. If it is, the fuel pressure regulator may be bad, either allowing zero to too much pressure to occur.
In locating things to check, it is helpful to have a decent service manual at hand and the Haynes books are somewhat better:
    '97 LHS Service Manual
You can also find (or order) these at any of the chain parts stores. Your investment will pay for itself.

2001 Chrysler 300M Engine Light on all the time

Hello, my engine light was on for a VERY LONG time and everytime I got it checked no one could tell me what the problem was because things always checked out fine. The "code" says its a loose gas cap or something, but it wasnt that. My 300M also was having A HARD TIME STARTING UP for about 8 months and leaking coolant for about a month. I finally found a mechanic who knew what he was doing; 1. Leaking Radiator 2. Coolant found in #2 or #3 cylinder. The cause of this was a busted HEAD GASKET. If your 300M has trouble starting and the Engine light stays on have a mechanic check your engine for a busted head gasket and see if all your cylinders are firing correctly. I had to pay $2600 for a new Head Gasket, Radiator and all new hoses plus labor. CRYING!!!!!!!!!!

    I have a 2001 300M 130K - very well kept. Stuff happens...

My Chrysler 300m is misfiring on the 4 cyl. Check engine on.

hello, The 300m's all have individal coil packs for each cylinder. They pretty much sit right on top of the spark plug and have a long boot that goes down into the head onto the spark plug. If you have not replaced the one on cylinder #4 I would do so and that will probably fix your problem. It is held down by 2 torx screws. They are around $85 bucks at the parts store. Hope this helps

Does the fuel filter affect gas mileage

there are lots of things that can affect gas mileage. if the spark plugs and wires are worn out, the air filter being dirty, dirty fuel filter, proper inflation of the tires, O2 sensors that are contaminated and performing poorly. the first thing to do would be that the engine is in good working order, as in no check engine light, no misfire, etc. a poorly running engine will put out terrible gas mileage. then you can start with the things i listed.

I have a 2001 chrysler 300m that is not starting. It is getting fuel to the injection system, and I think fire to the plugs. Why is the car turning over, but not starting?

You think it has spark ? You have to be sure it has spark. Take off a spark plug. Then have somebody help you turn the ignition. Ground the spark plug attached to the wire to the engine. Tell them to turn the engine. You should see a blue spark at the end of the spark plug. use gloves to handle the plug. You don't want to get a shock. If you don't see a spark. Something is not right. it is the coil(s) or something else.

Rough reaction on engine at start .

Check engine light on all the time is not a good sign. Go to an Auto parts shop like Advance auto and have them connect a scanner to your car for a readout on why your light is on. Could be many things, probably a O2 sensor.
