start by checking the fuel pressure and do it while starting. see how long it takes for the fuel pressure to build and once it has built up, wait and watch it bleed down. it should hold. if not, replace the pump and filter. a fuel pressure guage is going to be your best friend in this case. it would be a good idea at this point to also replace the plugs. happy new year

SOURCE: having problem in finding location
The water pump for this vehicle is timing belt-driven. It is located behind the timing cover, which is behind all the accessory drivebelts.
