2005 Nissan Oil leaking into Motors 3rd chamber

I was told by my local dealer that my 2005 Nissan has Oil leaking into the Motors 3rd chamber. They are getting me a new engine. I am also having many issues under warranty with fuel system which they have addressed. Has anyone else had these issues or do I just have a fluke? My daughter has a 2003 Nissan and 1 month ago had the same engine problem but they made her pay for her engine repair. If this is a recall thing I would like to know so maybe she can get her $ back. Any help would be great as on fixed incomes as we all are and if they knew it was a problem why should we pay when its a nissan issue?

Rubber sealing for the chamber is not of good quality which is making such a problem hence change the seal of the chamber with a good quality rubber sealing

Exaust system on my 2005 echo leaks and makes lots of noise is it a lot of MONEY

exhaust leaks usually mean repairing /replacing problem, usually can cost a few bucks, depending on the mileage on the vehicle and how it was maintained is to wether you can switch to synthetic oil. I run it in my 02 cougar since new and fine, but once the motors start to weear out, better off staying with a regular/semi synthetic oil...7 years, id change the trans fluid, sounds like reasonable pricing.

My check engine light is on and I've been told it is the cam sensor, but I can't find one. It's a 2005 nissan altima. Do they have a cam sensor and a crank sensor?

This engine has both. Nissan recommends replacing them at the same time, I think your local Nissan dealer will tell you the same thing. The cam and crank sensors are in the rear of the engine.Looking from the drivers fender find the right rear corner of the valve cover and look straight down the back of the head. the cam sensor is 3-4 inches down from the valve cover gasket surface.the crank sensor is basically straight down from the cam sensor but much harder to see. it is just above the oil pan gasket surface...

Nissan has reproduced the crank sensors installed in all altimas 2004 and up. it was deffective. Its also sort of difficult to access. take off the intake tube, dissconnect the throttle body connector. and reach to the bottom of the engine right next to the motor mount.take the connector off and see if the feel for oil. There will most likely be oil on the connector. Replace sensor

How much oil does porsche 996 take 2004model twin turbo + if iv put 8.5 liters witch i did n it smoked n i drained it all out n added 4 then drove the car to clear the smoke witch it did has it damaged my...

The smoke is obviously a big indicator you have oil in the combustion chamber. On turbo motors it is likely coming from a leaking oil seal in the turbo housing itself. But there is a possibility of internal damage like a piston. Might want to run a compression test to eliminate any internal engine issues first, then focus back on the turbo oil seals.

Throttle chamber

You need to take it to a Nissan dealer and have the necessary adjustments made. The Idle Volume Learn can only be done using the Nissan Consult computer and only dealerships have these.
