Question about Jeep Grand Cherokee

My jeep dies at lights. and tries to die when driving. it will back fire and pick back up when driving. it is not constant or have any rythm. it just happens periodicallyand will sometimes start right back up and sometimes you have to let it sit. i have replaced the Fuel pump, fuel/air filter, plugs, wires, cap, and, rotor button, 02 sensors, cat, and muffler

    mine only happens during summer,when outside air tempt is 80+,winter runs great changed fuel air filter plugs and wires,dist cap roter

My best offer on it could be is either the PCM need replacing or sometimes if it isn't damaged too bad you can just back the screws off a quarter turn or a bad crankshaft position sensor.

Why wont my sons jeep run now

Try putting a timing light on it once you get it to crank and idle. Sounds like the timing is retarded too much. Advancing it should make it run better. Also check that you are getting proper fuel pressure to the engine.

Check the connections from the battery. Loose battery terminal, corroded wires, loose from other end of wires. Simply trace it back, more that likely loose on starter end

Abrupt stall

Take air intake duct off at throttle body and spray WD-40 into throttle body with plate open, then try to start, if it fires up for a second, then dies, it's a fuel delivery problem.
