Question about 1987 Dodge Raider
You actually have three sensors that can shut off your a/c on a raider. Low pressure, hot (overheating) engine, and one other (can't remember what it is called but I believe that it is behind your glove compartment.

Could be your AC control unit if its not a problem with your actual AC clutch. Go ahead and check all the fuses, if non of the fuses are blown then you probably need a new control unit
