Well after $400 or so I fixed one problem just to turn around and have another. I replaced the crank shaft and timing belt. The car ran for about 1 week and then it would not turn over "again". This time I took it to the mechanic shop. A $1230 later my car is like new. I wound up having to replace the battery and radiator.

Back to basics, then, with checking for gas and spark. Sudden no-starts are usually caused because either gas or spark has been lost. Check fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge, and check for spark at a spark plug wire.
Fuel pressure should be within specs-it is pretty high for multi-port injection, about 50 psi, but Kia would have specs. If you have no spark, need to diagnose the ignition system-plug wires, coils, ignition control modules, crank sensor, ecu...

2002 Madza 626 has fire but seems like it's not getting gas

I had a similar sounding problem: my '02 626 would turn over but not start and I know my solution will sound strange but it worked. To start with I had a 4.5 year-old battery and I cranked on the starter until the battery started dying. I then left the car in my driveway overnight and the next afternoon, when I had time, I hooked it up to my battery charger (set on 'fast charge' ) and I pulled off one of the spark plug wires and tried to ground it then had my 17 year-old turn the starter over to see if we had any spark reaching the plugs. The car then started! While I was holding a spark plug wire in my hand! I replaced the battery that night and have not had a problem since (about 4 weeks ago). How old is your battery? Take it to a parts store that does battery diagnosis and have 'em check it out... It may just be your culprit.

Driving and car dies. Will not restart

It could be two choices either trouble with ignition or fuel. Check to see if you have fire at the spark plug. If you do then i would say its the fuel pump. If it was injector it would have to all of them at same time and that's not likely.
God Bless Greg
