Be sure you have not placed a bag of groceries or a purse on the seat, this will trigger the light as well.

Have a certified professional check the air bag sensors. A loose connection will cause this.

I have a 2000 Honda Accord that has the ''SRS'' red light on the instrument cluster that is on and does not go off. Occasionally the passenger side air bag yellow warning light will come on for a little...

most of older honda models have problem with seat belt and it turn on the srs light. infact, there is a recall, check with your local dealer.
however, when that light come on there is a problem with your air bag system. so have it check

What the problem was the switch to turn off the pass. side air bag off and on with your key. the bulb had blown, this made the light in the dash come on. Junkyard got switch replaced it. fixed my problem hope this helps.

    Air bag light on

On my 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette, the air bag light occasionally comes on. What I found is that under the drivers seat, there are some electrical connections. Make sure all of those are tight. Make sure you have nothing under the drivers seat pushing on the cables.

    Instrument Panel Codes??

Yes, it's called a lamp fault code.

9 is not familiar to me. Call dealer service department and ask them what code means.

Here are codes for a 94 Aerostar. I don't have 91 Sable. Sorry.

The check air bag light stays on , and a service air bag alert at info center

Sounds like the sensor is tripped due to low pressure in the compressor you have to get the unit charged and the light will go off. Or take it to a auto parts store and have them put their diagnostic code reader on their and have them clear the codes this may fix it as well
