Fan switch stopped working, then started working again until I turned off vehicle. Now, it won't work. The A/C is working but air blows through minimally without the fan working. Is this a loose wire or is the switch or fan motor shot? Back seat fan blower is working fine. Can I repair either one myself?

my air will come on low but if you turn the switch it goes off. after a while it will come back on. if it is on high same thing, also several warning lights on the dash come on, brake, traction warning, antilock brake, they go off after it starts working. Could this be a ground to the system? Don't have a schematic but am guessing that all are on the same circuit.

I had the same problem...kinda...all i had for a while was full blast and off....

turns out, under the dash on the passenger side there's a connector that regulates this....it was white on my truck...should be connected to the wires that go into the back of the switch itself...trace them down and eventually you'll run into it...it's about 2x2 inches....clean the connections and replace it...was an easy fix for me

I had the same problem in my chevy. Turned out to be the switch on the dash. Not cheap.

My heater works but wont blow out any vents. replaced blower motor

Under your hood, passenger side bolted right in the middle of your air conditioning unit is a lone relay screwed in with 2 screws. That was the reason my 92 Blazer wouldn't blow 99% of the time. Knew it wasn't likely the motor since mine worked sometimes, and motors usual are just good or bad. The low/med/high fan speed switch has a resistor in it that can also go bad, I changed that 1st, no change, swapped out that $6 relay and now I have a fan again :) Those are really the only 2 things causing your problem unless your wiring is a wreck or something unusual. Bonus: relay's a 5 min fix taking your time.

My heater won't blow out any air unless it is on high with the fan blowing.

Hello let me verify.
1 heater wont blow out warm air unless on high?
possible clogged airfilter.low on coolant or antifreeze.

2 heater wont blow any air unless on high?
Could be a bad switch low ane med do not work.
