Question about 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
I had the same problem...kinda...all i had for a while was full blast and off....
turns out, under the dash on the passenger side there's a connector that regulates this....it was white on my truck...should be connected to the wires that go into the back of the switch itself...trace them down and eventually you'll run into it...it's about 2x2 inches....clean the connections and replace it...was an easy fix for me

I had the same problem in my chevy. Turned out to be the switch on the dash. Not cheap.
