They are never the same, assuming that both fuse-boxes have been checked,ie; under the hood and under the dash or in the side panel of center console.
On some models they were under the center on the dash, behind the radio and a/c controls unit.
Go to your owners manual and look up fuses. This will give you a picture of the fuse placement and which one is for the radio. It will also show you where the fuse box is if you are unsure of its location. There are also a few spare fuses in the fuse box and your manual will tell you where they are and if they are the correct amperage. Do not put a larger fuse in because this could result in wires becoming hot and potentially a fire hazzard.
