I need to find out where the Speed control sensor is located on my 1999 plymouth voyager so i can replace it

No speed control sensor on your vehicle. What is the reason u with to replace it? Speedometer not working? Vehicle not shifting?

It is located on the drivers side under the hood.You must reome the ajr cleaner assembly and it is mounted on the transmission.There are 2 alike sensors next to each other 1 is input and the other is output,the input is closer to the engine.Craig

Where is the Manifold Intake Temperature sensor located in a 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE? I did a Self Check and Diagnosis and DTC error codes showed up as 23, 55. 55 I am assuming is end of code list....


it is located in the air filter case in some cars is in the air duct that connects the air filter to the throttle body is a small sensor inserted in the duct with two cables connector .

My 1999 plymouth voyager won't shift to reverse, i got the code p0720 and i replaced the speed sensor but it did not fix it, is it time to rebuild?


If I remember right when our 1999 Grand Voyager did this there were 2 speed sensors on the tranny and I replaced both at the same time.

Where is the speed sensor located 3.0 automatic


Both the transmission input speed sensor and output speed sensor are located on the front of your transmission, below the battery. You may have to remove your air cleaner assembly to get a good look at them.

the speed sensor may be bad, its located on top/back of trany, unplug connector and remove bolt and then it pulls right out, hope this helps.

This is a diagram of where and what it looks like. Its located on the back side near the firewall on your transmission. GOOD LUCK!

Voyager transmission problem


I had the same problem in my 1999 plymouth voyager. Changed both speed sensors it started shifting perfectly.. Now i get a little thump when downshifting from 2nd to first when stoping change the sensors there only about 20 dollars each its 2 of them on the front of transmission..

CANT FIND THE SPEED SENSOR


there is an input and output sensor.....they are both visible when you remove the aircleaner box...as you are looking at the tans the input is on the left and output on the right....you will need a1 and 1/16 socket to remove them
