Trmoving and replacing the CV joints

Same Problem

May 04, 2009

-   Me and a buddy tried to remove the drivers side cv axle, we pulled the hub nut dropped the sway knuckle and control arm. My Haynes manual says to just pull the hub and the cv splines will just pop out, if they stick you just tap end with plastic hammer. We tried and nothing happened we so far as to beat the **** out of it with a small sledge but nothing would get the cv to come out of the hub. I need to replace my cv because I have a bad click/popping sound when accelling in turns. But I ended up having to put it back together and its just like I never took any thing off, this thing hasn't even budged.-   Force_Blade
