Question about Dodge Ram 1500
If the 1996 trans is also a 2wd,yes it will bolt right in.One thing to look at though is the connector on the trans on the driver side,they should both be round,8 wire connectors.It is possible that the earlier 94 trans has a different connector in that same location,if so,no it won't work.
