Question about 1993 Acura Integra Hatchback
Fuel pump operation appears intermittent during start cycle - when key turned on fuel pump relay closes and runs pump for brief time then opens. Sometimes fuel pump does not run while crankng and engine will not start. No intermittent cutout problems once running
The common cause of the problem that you related.
Is the FUEL PUMP RELAY " Called MAIN RELAY.
Is located : left side under the dash.
Is a BIG relay gray colour. with a connector of 7 or 8 wires.
I recomend replace the relay.

As far as possible, I like to be able to test circuits and parts before replacing them...I tried to find a fuel pump circuit diagram and a description of operational sequence (much as GM manuals showed for their vehicles) I recall replacing Honda relays (successfully) under complete failure condition and appreciate this suggestion. Anybody got a circuit diagram with "sequencing" information?
