The brake lights doesn't work. I put in new bulbs and it still did'nt work. I checked the fuse and the fuse is fine. What else can it be? Could it be the brake sensor?

Its a switch near the pedal. Cheap to replace, and fairly easy too.

Why taillights do not come on, but the brakelights and signal lights work

check the fuses for a burnt fuse. the taillight circuit has its own fuse and wiring. its possible the headlight switch is bad but this doesn`t happen very often.

Im replacing a tail light circuit board on both rear lights, is their any special way to do this

just check accurately bulbs if you mixed it could happen like that, some cars for the brake lights use two contact bulbs some of them single contact, two contact bulbs can give two signals which one is used for brake ligths and another for taillight, so check the bulbs carefully

Brake Lights all of a sudden not working on my 1995 Tahoe. Checked fuses and lights. Neither burnt out.

The turn signal switch and the hazard switch are likly places to look. To checjk the fuses is'nt to take them out and look at them but to test to see if power will go though them, I use a test light ( a tool that looks like an ice pick with a wire coming out of the handle and the handle is clear with a light bulb inside). with the clip connected to a good ground as you touch the back sides of the fuses the light will light if it only lights on one side, the fuse is blown ( does'nt matter what it looks like ) a bad fuse can look good. the turn signal switch is involved as is the Hazard switch. If you pusth the hazard switch and the lights light good then you know that the lights and the sockets are good. You also know that the wires are good . With the key on the turn signals should work front and back ( thier different cicruits) If only working in the front the turn signal switch is bad provided the hazards worked all the way around. Does the high mount stop light work? It works off of it's own circuit on the brake light switch and if no lights work your back to the fuses only after you checked to see if the high mount bulbs are good. Your car is plenty old enough to have them be burnt out. If the high mount doesn't work with the bulbs known to be good and then you check with the test light to see if the power isd getting to the brake light switch. One wire is hot with the key off and another comes hot with the key on ( the cruze control switch in the brake light).

2006 Sonata brake lights don't work except rear deck light.

Check the connection at the brake light switch for power comming out to the barke lights, try feeding power to the brake lights manualy using a jumper wire from your fuse box or battery, unplug the wire from the switch and put power to the harness if everything is OK the brake lights will work, then you need a new switch.

Left rear brake light stopped working but bulb and fuses are OK.

These are Dual Function Bulbs. They control the Parking Lights and the Brake Lights. This Bulb is Burnt out on the Brake Coil inside the Bulb. I have actually seen Bulbs that were Bad But you could not Tell by jast looking at them. It should be fine with a New Bulb. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
