Chances are you probably have a bad crank sensor.

If your engine is imobilised it could be a mailfunctioning imobiloser due to damp or your actual coil may of had its day.

My 1986 dodge 600 won't start..the engine is cranking and gas is getting in to it but I can't get a spark..I also have changed the coil n still not gettin a spark..

i assume you have checked to make sure that the distributor is turn while cranking.if not then you have a broken timing belt,if it is turning then you probably have a bad pickup coil in the distributor.the wires that come out of the distributor that plug into a harness is part of the pickup coil.if you follow the wires into the distributor it will take you to the pickup coil itself this is the part that needs to be replaced.i trust that you checked to for battery voltage to the coil.

I have a 2001 Ford Expedition 4.6 4WD. Service engine soon light came on and when checked at parts store diagnostics said cylonder #2 miss firing. Is this a coil pack because we can't find plugs,...

If you do not see a distributor or spark plug wires, then you have a coil over plug system. Changing the coil pack is as easy as removing the hold down bolt and lifting the coil pack off the spark plug. Other things should be checked like signal to the coil, the fuel injector signal and the spark plug

No spark

There's no emergence switch, if there was it would only be for fuel and not spark, there four thing to get spark,
ignition control module, ignition coil, distributor pick up assembly and spark plug wire's check for spark at coil, more then likely it's going to be your distributor pick up assembly, the pick up sit in side your ignition distributor, replace it and it will start, hope this was very helpful.

My car has no spark it has a new crank senor i tested the ecm it passed so what could it be

it is mounted on the side of the ignition distributor body, here is a picture, u should also change the Stator inside the distributor, this requires you remove the distributor from the engine and then drive out the roll pin that holds the drive gear on, this is not for the do it yourself-er
