Things to check are all the nuts and bolts first . then all the rubber bushes on shocks and radius arms etc . then jack up the wheels one by one and give the wheel a good pull top to bottom and side to side if there is any play in anything it will need adjusting or replacing . try asking the same question on a specialist site like for a more detailed answer..

Have a 3/4 ton dodge 2004 diesel . It makes noises when I go over a bump--- replaced shocks since they were shot but still does it---bushings look fine and nothing looks bent--- please help

Jack up the truck let the wheels hang in their suspension - then look put a long strong rod / pipe / plate underneath one wheel and listen for unusual noises when the wheel is lifted. Check for noises when the axle is pressured again by the weight of the truck.

Major squeaking under truck while driving

struts shocks look for leaky fluids near strut body cylinder

there are other suspension componenets but usualy struts make noise when bad also check strut mount for then can come loose or be broken ... but your car would sag that direction

How to replace back shocks on 97 Town Car

The shocks can be replaced individually or in a pair and without replacing anything in the air suspension system. Just remember to shut off the air suspension before raising the vehicle and then support the rear axle. I know I have done a few of these, also done the grand marquis, too. I'm not sure which was which, maybe even the same way, but you may need an air hammer with a very long chisel bit to remove the top nut. If you don't have this, well, good luck.

1994 corvette makes sqeaking noise

this noise (based on my own Corvette doing the same thing) is that it is the sway bar rubber bushings making the noise, remove them and apply white grease to the inside of the rubber bushing, then retest, it fixed mine (1996)

Theres a ching chingching ching sound coming from under my 04 rx8

This sounds like something in the suspension is probably going bad. Start by checking the shocks/struts and the various other suspension parts. These include the sway bar, frame, tie rods, ball joints. Just simply check all of these things. With the vehicle in the air you can move the wheel around while inspecting the various points and this will give you a better idea of what is going on with your car. Ususally rattling noises that are associated with speed is suspension related. There could also be something loose in the exhaust or something might be dangling from underneath of the vehicle. Just kneel down and take a peek.

Rear Suspension noise on 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8

Check sway bar. On some models as suspension sags, sway bar outer ends will contact the body, leaving a mark or dent just above the end, causing a bang over bumps. Only way to correct this is to change springs or add a spring lift.

When driving overrough pavement the are quite load clunking noises from the suspension? shocks? loose stuff? any ideas.

you maybe be due for new shocks and struts due to the age of the vehicle.thats why it would sound like it does and ride rough.
