Flasher relay location

On the left above fuse box panel in side the truck (on the drivers lower of dash is the access)... the flasher relay will click if bad, when you turn key on and turn on directional signal... you will feel it clicking with your hand.... some modes have the relay under the hood in the relay box just above battery....

Where is the turn signal fuse flasher in a 1998 Ford Windstar?

According with your owners manual, the flashers are located in the passenger compartment fuse and relay box. If the turn signals operate in only one direction, a bulb is probably burned out. If they do not operate in either direction, a bulb on each side may be burned out, or the flasher may be defective. Also the hazzards use the same flasher as the signals.

If you need other details or this Windstar Owners Manual, just contact us.

Hope this helps (remember to rating this answer and leave some testimonial comment).

The directional flasher b oth stopped. If it is the flasher unit , where is it situated and how to replace it.

Do the 4-way / hazards still work ?

Do the stop lamps ( all 3 ) work correctly ?

The flasher relay is in a relay block with the blower motor relay, and it could still have the black plastic cover on it.
The flasher / relay block is under the dash about inline with the steering wheel column.

Check to see if the hazards work, if they do, and all 3 stop lamps work correctly, I would suspect the MFS ( Multi Function Switch ) is the cause of it. The contacts for the Hazards & the Stop lamps are separate from the turn signals. There are a few threads on F150 forums on cleaning the MFS. Worth a try prior to replacing it.

Hi
It is NOT the relay as the relay for the flasher and beam are seperate.
Its the switch consol in the steering that needs to be looked into.

Where is the flashers located to replace turning signals in a 1996 nissan maxima

The combination flasher relay is located under the dash panel, next to the center console near the Automatic Speed Control Device (ACSD) control box. If the turn signals operate in only one direction, a bulb is probably burned out. If they do not operate in either direction, a bulb on each side may be burned out, or the flasher may be defective.

The flasher is located next to the ACSD control unit under the dash panel on the driver side of the vehicle

Fuse location for directional and emergency signal

The TS flasher and 4 way flasher use different fuses. I'd test the flasher assembly located near the fuse box under the dash. One blown fuse won't disable both but a bad flasher module could,
