codes are OBDll and are availble on line free
google error code P2108 Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P2108 stands for "Throttle Actuator Control Module Performance
P2172 Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P2108 stands for "Throttle Actuator Control Module Performance
P2106 The P2106 OBD-II trouble code is one of number of possible codes that indicates that the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has detected a malfunction and is limiting the operation of the Throttle Actuator Control System
Replace all the Ignition Coils & the code will be gone
Forget the P2106--- no problem related to that code
Ignition coils are bad & spike the PCM (computer) drivers ---eg:-- don't ground out correctly & you loose the TPS Sensor signal,go into failsafe & get the P2106
P2106 is an informational code and is usually set by some other fault.
This DTC means is that the PCM detected a fault with the electronic throttle
control and went into fail safe mode. It doesn't tell you specifically
what system or component went haywire, just that something was wrong,
the PCM didn't know what to do so it went to a known good operating
parameter, in this case fail safe mode. Likely is a problem with the TPS sensor and will need to be replaced.
P0101 Mass Air Flow or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance problem. P0441 Evaporative Control System - Improper Purge. P2106 Throttle actuator control system - Forced Limited Power P161B Manufacturer Control Auxiliary Inputs Auxiliary Outputs P1295 Manufacturer Control Fuel Air Metering Hope that helps out.
RE: code p2106 /p2175 question
The sensor on the pedal is called the (APPS) accelorator positon sensor which sends to the throttle body. The throttle body is the problem in this case.
I think you'll find it's a problem with your throttle you might need to talk to you local ford dealer but don't get talked into getting bit's replaced! I've been tld that you can put a recommended cleaner into your fuel tank and this can sometimes cure the problem - worth a go................
Code P1295,P2106 are malfunction in electronic throttle control. P2135 is a fault in throttle pedal position. It might have a crack in the intake manifold. Check with dealer for possible warranty.
