Question about Audi A6

1 Answer

Drove 25 miles to Norwich this morning and everything seemed fine. However on the way back i was overtaking on the bypass when the car seemed sluggish. It took ages to get past lorries etc when usually it goes like a dream. The car just seems to have lost all oomph when accelerating.

Thanks emissionwiz. I have booked the car in to have the fuel filter changed as I suspect this is the problem. Yes, lorries are the UK version of trucks.

    Thanks again

Have the fuel pressure checked, make sure the exhaust system is not restricted by having a back pressure test run, I assume lorries are trucks? In any event check the fuel pressure first, you may have a plugged fuel filter, or the fuel pump may be failing.

Could be a fuse or the ac control module. I would check the fuse first.

99 Sunfire Coolant keeps dumping

You need to find the source of the leak. it hasn't overheated yet because you keep catching it and re-filling. From your description, it sounds a lot like a bad water pump seal (part of pump) but without physically looking you can't be sure of that. when the pump seal begins to fail, internal pressure while running often will drive the seal tighter against the shaft stopping the leak. as pressure drops as the engine cools, the seal relaxes and permits seepage.
With time, that will change and it will leak all the time.

I think you should check your battery and alternator. If they both check good you may have a battery draw, something draining the battery over night.Check your doors make sure they are closing like they should.
