Question about 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera

Code for the navigation system

I have a 1999 Carrera and recently had the AC worked on. They disconnected the battery and now the NAV system is asking for a code. I cant use any other function apparently until I put in the code. Do you know how I can find the code?

I bought a used 2008 ford f450. The nav sys says to clean the disk. How can I find the pin code that the original owner set up. There are no owners manuals.

This is from page 38 of the navigation system manual. I hope it is the right one for your system:

" If the PIN is forgotten, you
can disable Valet Mode by disconnecting the battery or removing the
appropriate fuse for one minute to reset the system."

Here is a link to the manual:

I have an '09 toyota camry and the navigation system won't work, tried to hard start the system by disconnecting the battery but it still won't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think you will need to access the Nav System with a professional
scanner or scan tool & then use manufacture trouble charts, to even know what the system is supposed to do, & how to diagnose it

Hopefully a repair shop, if they want the job, otherwise blow out
your wallet at a dealer

Scion 2011 tc navigation system

If the rest of the radio is working ok it's probably just a software lockup. Disconnect the car battery for several seconds to reset it. Should work after that.

Changed battery of my 2002 acura mdx, need codes for radio nav

You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio and nav. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

Battery on my 2002 acura rl was disconnected now the indash navigation system is asking for a code where or how can i find it please help

Sometimes the dealership will post the Navigation Code and the Radio code in the owner's manual. Others write the code on tape and then put the tape in the top of the glove box. If you can't locate the codes there you will need to stop and see the dealer and provide them with your vin number and they can look up the code for you. I don't think they will do it over the phone.

Your radio/nav system needs a code. Go the your dealer's parts department , give them the VIN of your car( should be free $0). Punch in the code through the car radio and your radio/nav system should work right away.

Navigation asks for a code

Contact you can look under your nav system in the trunk. You will need to remove the screws that hold the Nav System in place. The serial number is right in the middle on the bottom of the unit. Once you have it, call Acura and tell them you need the code. You will also have to prove that you own the vehicle. Good Luck.
