Might want to verify the switch operation by checking the 7 pin trailer tow adapter for the reverse circuit. This is a standard 7 pin RV type plug
can't get the back up light to burn, the fuse - sscullys_117.jpg

The "reverse switch" is called the DTR ( Digital Transmission Range ) Sensor, and it is mounted on the side of the transmission. This also contains the contact for only starting the truck in park or neutral, so if that works correctly, I would take a SWAG that the reverse section of it is OK ( but that is a SWAG ).

You can check the 7 pin, if that reverse works, the DTR is fine and the issue could be at the rear of the truck with the splice ( which the trailer tow adapter also goes through ).
You need to drop the spare tire to get to the connector, it is a large multi pin connector, reverse is the Black w/ pink stripe wire.

Windows cruise mirrors dome light not working 200 f350

There are a few possible reasons why the windows, cruise, and mirrors dome light in your 2000 F350 is not working. Here are a few things you can check: Check the fuse: The first thing you should do is check the fuse for the dome light. The fuse box is typically located under the dashboard. The fuse for the dome light is usually labeled "dome light" or "interior lights." If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage. Check the wiring: If the fuse is not blown, the next thing you should check is the wiring for the dome light. The wiring can be damaged or corroded, which can prevent the light from working. Inspect the wiring carefully for any signs of damage. If you find any damage, repair or replace the wiring. Check the light bulb: If the wiring is not damaged, the next thing you should check is the light bulb itself. The light bulb may be burned out or loose. To check the light bulb, remove it from the socket and inspect it for any signs of damage. If the light bulb is burned out, replace it with a new light bulb. If the light bulb is not burned out, make sure that it is properly seated in the socket. Check the switch: If the light bulb is not burned out and the wiring is not damaged, the next thing you should check is the switch. The switch may be faulty and need to be replaced. To check the switch, disconnect the wiring from the switch and test it with a multimeter. If the switch is faulty, replace it with a new switch. If you have checked all of these things and the dome light is still not working, you may need to take the truck to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.

Why my stop lamp dont turn on when i stop

While if it was working before then there is little problems which you have to check steep by steep !
1. go check your car light bulbs & light grips on back of your car .
If Bulbs look good then.
2. check fuse in fuse box which is on driver side & on fuse box cover its written on stop lamp & you can check other fuse as well just to confirm if there is another shorting.
If all fuse are good then check .
3.Check brake pedal upper side there is one switch which have two wire out check there wire or grip if its have losing then it wont work.
if its look proper attached then .
4.This switch have threads which can be adjustable before taking any step to adjust just check when you are pressing a brake pedal there is a plastic needle working inside its come out or not ,If its come out then your brake light switch gone wrong or if its not coming then plastic needle is jammed inside & your car brake light not working.
Just to confirm if your brake switch is in good condition or in bad condition .
Okay this is final steep you have to check or confirm it switch problem .....
5. There is two wire on back of brake pedal switch or in a grip coming out , So if its in grip or just on clips, then take a wire piece & bypass or joint both wire which is coming from wire loom sid to brake pedal & check your brake lamps if its blink or on than 100% you car brake pedal switch is not working or inside its short , So replace your car brake pedal switch or if still not blink or On then there is some issue in your car wiring & you better check you car to you auto electrician......
Hopefully you will save your amount not to visit you auto electrician.
best of luck....

Center high-mounted stoplight is not working? Where is the relay?

If the two rear brake light are working on each side, then fuse and relay are good, check the bulb.

'99 Expedition brake lights aren't turning on when pressing brake

It could be a number of things, the good news is that none of them are serious or expensive to fix.

The normal components that make up your brake circut are:

1. The brake light fuse (In the fuse box and labeled as such)
2. The brake light switch/relay - also called a stop light switch. It's under the dash, right behind the brake pedal arm. When you push the brake, it sends a signal to the lights which turns them on. Think of the dome light switch in the door jam of your truck. When you open the door, it releases the switch and your dome light pops on. Same thing with the brake light switch.
3. The bulbs in the tail lights and the 3rd brake light.
If none of them are working, it's most likely a fuse or the switch/relay under the dash. If it's the switch, it's a $12 part. Obviously fuses are only a couple bucks.

Blinkers not working

Did you check the bulbs? If one bulb is burned out, the blinkers won't word on that side. You could have one bulb burned out on each side. Start the car, put left signal on. Check front and back lights. Is one light on but not blinking? If that's the case, the light that's not on at all is burned out and has broken the circuit so the good light stays on and won't blink. Check the other side. You also have a 'flasher' , actually 2. One for emergency flashers, one for the turn signals. It could be that the turn signal flasher is shot. You just have to unplug it to remove. It's probably located near the fuses. good luck countrycurt0

Cargo light 2005 mitsubishi outlander

you might want to check the fuses first, if they are all good then
check the switch which is located in the back door jam area. You should be able to unscrew or get to the switch back easily once there connect the two wires together and see if it lights.
