Ok, here it goes, I changed the ignition switch, pickup coil, control module ignition, coil ignition, and I rebuilt the carburetor of my 1986 cj7.

When I try to turn it on it start fine but the jeep is still turning off on me. When I drive the car it runs ok but sometimes it turn off on me while I driving it for about average of 20 minutes or sometimes not have this problems for a week, but when is doing it turn of me and do explosions’ and sometimes don’t want to start again until is cold again or I don’t know but is drive me crazy I can’t get the point of this problem. (CAN SOME ONE GIVE A IDEA PLEASE) kjmj24@yahoo.com

My 1985 grand wagoneer failed the smog check for evap grossly and excessive fuel consumption. where do i find the parts and where if anyone would be able to work on it. do i go to a jeep dealership or do...

no jeep will always work on your car.. do you have a cat installed... because if you dont that could be a huge problem right there... excessive fuel consumption i could only think is because you are running rich.. this can cause misfire... i would go to jeep...
