I have the same problem with my 2005 Honda CRV. It has been taken over three times to the dealer for repair. It improves for some time but it always comes back as bad as it was the first time. Some of the solutions tried has been " move the subframe", realign the front and back wheels, replace the tires for Michelin tires. The problem has worsen recently and I am trying to find a true solution if it exist.

On my 2005 CR-V I get a clicking sound when turning especially to the left. Dealer got a service bulletin saying to shim the engine away from the left side of the car, the motor was leaning when I turned. Made no difference. Bought it in 4 times they now say they can no longer hear the noise but it's still there as bad as ever. Sounds just like a bad CV Joint, but it isn't. I suspected something in the clutch throwout bearing assembly, but no one wants the headache of doing a clutch job for warranty work. My Honda dealer has no clue as to what is wrong, and won't admit that there is a problem

I have the same problem with 2008 CRV. Purchased new. Noticed the pulling in the 1st week and has never gone away - no matter what the dealer does for the car. The claim that there is nothing wrong with the car, but simply by any standards, the car pulls.

I have a 2008 honda crv with 30,000 miles. It pulls to the right following a right hand turn but seems to reset itself when you turn to the left. I have had it at 2 honda dealers, both of which have realigned it and one of which has told me it is the roads I am driving on or that I got new tires and the tread is different. Nothing has changed the steering. I called American Honda and they state that if the dealers say nothing is wrong then there is nothing they can do about it. I know of 2 other 2008 Honda CRV's which are sitting at one of these dealers in their used car lots which drive worse than mine. I have had an independent car garage tell me they feel it is the rack-in-pinion steering, which apparently is a sealed component. The garage would not take this apart, just take the entire thing off the car, send it back to the manufacturer, and either they would rebuild it or put a new one in. They, however, can't do that as it is a warranty issue. I take the car in again this week to one of the garages and I am sure they again will tell me there is nothing wrong as they have only given me an hour appointment. It may not be Honda but it may be the manufacturer of that particular part. Help! Wendy

Have a 2007 Crv ex auto first in Ireland was pulling to left on day we pick up car.Dealer is a friend so called Honda Car was brought back 4 times changed tyers etc no fix.Dealer had 6 new cars with same problem so Honda sent engineers from japan to find fix.In the end it was a camber problem ie roads in different country's have a set camber to let water flow off.Crv has no adjustment for this so new shocks in front an everything ok now .Hope this helps?

I have a 2007 CRV EX that I bought new. It drives really nice. I wouldn't worry about it if it pulls just a little bit because that's normal; there is a +/- range and your car probably falls within that range. If it bothers you that much, take your car in to a tire center and tell them that you would like them to do a "free" alignment check. A lot of places will do the check for free so don't just pay for it.

If your alignment is out of range, they will tell you and a simple wheel alignment will fix your problem.

This is a growing issue for the CR-V's. My 07' does the same thing. I am still trying to figure out what it is...

I'm currently working on a similar problem with an 02 Accord SE. Honda replaced a whole bunch of relays with multiplex control units(small computers) so it's not as simple as testing individual relays and pulling fuses anymore. Since the wire schematics don't illustrate exactly how they work, it has been very difficult to pinpoint the problem. Unfortunately, your best bet is probably the dealership or find a shop that specializes in auto electric. However, if you are up for it, you might be better off purchasing the MCU's and just try replacing them yourself and save the labor on having the dealer do it. At least for the Accord they are about $50 each, which is what you will pay for 30 minutes of diagnosis work at the dealer. Good luck.

I have a Honda CRV (2004) and the steering wheel is locked. The key will not turn in the ignition. Do you know how to unlock?

Try this.... Sit in the car and grab the wheel, pull or push the steering wheel with your left hand and arm, HARD! while turning the ignition.... Sometimes when you park with the wheels turned the weight of the car bears down on the wheels and has a tendency to lock the column!

What fuse # controls the in cabin fans on a 2004 Honda CRV?

The fuse box is located under the steering wheel to the right. A diagram on the back of the removable door should show you which fuse to check. You will likely need a pair of needle nose pliers to reach/pull the the fuses, they're recessed beyond the opening.
