-   I'm having same problem my 1999 Chevy Blazer was running fine then my wife and I left for Valentine's Day Dinner and did not make it 200 yards from my house and it just died. no warning no sputtering just died. It will turn over just fine but don't hear fuel pump and throttle body is not getting fuel so thought it was fuel pump but got to looking I poured a little fuel into throttle body and nothing. I then checked the spark and there is no spark coming out of coil. Talked to a friend (shade tree mechanic) and he said that the crank sensor could cause it to not only not get fuel but also not get spark. Replaced that and still nothing. I'm starting to think maybe the computer is out. Any ideas or advice? please?-   NickZander

-   1999 Blazer 4.3L, 5 spd, 4wd... sat for about 6 months in NY...Had a hole in the gas tank and a broken fuel pump... So 2 weeks or so ago I replaced the tank with a used one and put a brand new Fuel pump in. Blazer turned over and drove fine.. It had to sit for a short period of the last 2 weeks or so... today I climbed in and went to crank it, the battery was almost dead and it would not turn over. I hooked the battery up to my Dakota with jumper cables, So I was definately gettin enough power for crank.... However It would just turn over and over never fire...... I disconnected the fuel filter and turned the key and had a nice flow of fuel from there. At no point did I ever smell gas under the hood while I was cranking, (and believe me I tried to flood it!) Any one have any ideas before I start tearin **** apart... in the beginning I was thinking Possibly MAP sensor, Is there a distributor on the vortec 6 cyl? Any answers or ideas would greatly be appreciated!!!! Thanks Kevin!-   ks6674

-   my 1997 blazer 4x4 is doing the same, it cranks but wont start. if you jump battery it will start but its a brand new battery.then the next time it will start fine -   meandthemx1
The blazer won't start I've changed the Intake Air Temp. sensor but that did not help. I went and got a temperature sensor, my problem is I can't find where it goes. Is there someone who can tell me where it goes and maybe a picture.

My 1999 chevorlet blazer will start but it will not stay on....I don't have a clue ...can anyone tell me
have you tried a fuel filter? Remember that gas turns to varnish after sitting, you probabaly have obstruction between pump and fuel injection, or possibly the return line is obstructed.
