Use a 12 Volt test light (avail for a few bucks at Kragen) to check if the blower has power to it, if it doesn't check the blower fuse first, if it is ok and I suspect it will be the blower motor speed control resistor, it is in the air stream near the blower motor, Hope this helps.

How do I find the fuse for the heater blower

IF the heater fan is not working it is most likely the heater fan motor that has failed.

Replace the blower motor. The brushes wear out. Any autoparts store has them. About 100 dollars

Jeep GC 2004 blower works usually when I start the vehicle and then shuts off

04 GC
blower,
fails on high? is the first test.
and loose fuse for blower is 2nd.

there are only these ways for it to fail. (on high)
loss of 12vdc power feed, (fuses)
motor bad, hot wire it to test.
bad controller.
bad wires
bad connectors.

what we use is the FSM, it shows the whole deal there.
and we use a voltmeter, to find the point the power is lost.
its that simple.

Heater blower not working 2000 intrique

Most likely a failed blower motor resistor due to an excessive amp draw from the blower motor, recommend do both.

Bmw 525d heater blower inoprative

With the blower turned on, try tapping the blower motor with something hard. If it restarts, then this is a failing motor. If it doesn't start, then check power to the motor. If it has power, then the motor has failed completely.

Heater fan not operating

Most of the time when a heater blower quits working it is the blower switch that fails rather than the motor. Blower switch can be accessed in the dash panel.

My 1991 has a back heater that suddenly quit working. Is there a fuse?

It uses the same fuse as the front heater blower. There is a ballist resister to allow for the different speeds of the motor that can fail and the blower motor is well known to fail too. Sometimes thers a fuse right in the wire thatr's connected to the blower motor it'self.

Heater does not work

Check heater fuse.
If fuse good - could be a failure of the blower fan motor or blower control switch.
If fuse bad - bad blower fan motor could have blown the fuse.
DO: check fuse, then blower motor.
Pricing: new blower motor: Duralast PM270 $43.99
new heater control switch: Duralast SW229 $46.99 (without
A/C).
I'd expect your blower resistor to be good - when they fail, the blower only will work on HIGH setting.

My 02 Stratus heater only works on high. Any idea

Your blower resistor is bad. It controls the mutiple speeds to allow you to go from low/med/high. When it goes bad you get one speed or no speeds....It's about $20-$50 at any local auto parts store. It mounted directly to the speed switch or on the heater plenum unit on the passenger side behind the glove box....
