very little power to the pump, made sure to ground wire from harness by the pump directly to the frame and still no luck. Replaced relay, still no.

What are you by-passing in order to hook it up directly? If the fuse isn't bad but it runs if you put wires directly to the positive and negative wires at the pump, then I'd say it's a bad ground connection between the ecm/fuse box and the pump.

Electric fuel pump works when hooked directly to battery but not to original leads

Many shade tree guys will tell you run a switch and direct wire. This is not a good answer. The circuit includes an oil pressure switch which kills the pump in the event of an accident, to prevent the pump from running and feeding gas to a possible fire. There is also a bypass to supply juice while cranking. Fix it right! Check fuel pump fuses (sometimes two) and fuel pump relay.

Were is the fuel pump relay on a 91 geo tracker also when I hooked power to the fuel pump it dindnt run

When you hooked power directly to the fuel pump, it may not have been grounded properly. If you're running power directly to it, and it is grounded properly, it should work fine, unless the fuel pump itself if bad. There is something called Ohm's law. it says you have to have power and a ground to transfer electricity. I am at a loss on where the fuel pump relay is. If the pump won't work with direct power, I can't imagine it being the relay.

No power to fuel pump on a 1993 ford probe. all fuses are god, fuel pump relay is good and fuel cut of switch is good as well but still no power to pump?

If you actually have no power to the pump and all the fuses and relays are good check the wires for a short and if that is good replace the ignition switch. If you think the condition is no power to the pump because it doesn't seem to power up remove the pump and apply direct power to it to see if the pump is the problem.

I have a 06 f150 5.4L the fuel sending unit went out so i had to change to pump and everything, the pickup ran fine before but wen i put the new pump in it will not work so i tried resetting the fuel pump...

Hello, There is a fuel pump Relay in the Powerbox under the hood. The system works this way. When you turn on the Ignition switch, it trips the Fuel pump Relay. The power is routed to the fuse from the Relay and then to the Inertia (safety) cutoff switch. Finally the power reaches the Fuel pump.

You need to test the fuse holder for power before it flows through the fuse. You should have the Ignition on, in order for the Fuel pump Relay to provide power to the fuse. Although the fuse may be good, it can not work without power.

On most Models, the horn Relay is the same part as the Relay on the Fuel pump. Just check your part numbers and swap out the two parts and see if it helps.

NO POWER TO FUEL PUMP, RELAY WORKS FUSE GOOD

If you have put direct power to the fuel pump and it still wont work, then get an electrical test unit, test light, and ohmmeter, and check to see if there is a break in any of the wires, and that you have got a good ground connection from the ground feed.
After confirming you have good connections, then it will be obvious that the fuel pump needs replacing.

Have a 1992 chevy 1500 truck fuel pump works fine when hooked directly to the battery, replaced fuel pump relay, still no power to the fuel pump, engine turns over fine

maybe check the fuse for the injectors...i was being stupid and did this, if that fuse is missing it wont work even if your fuel pump works fine. i think its labeled inj a+b.
