    I have a 89 buick lesabre with electronic climate control, sometimes the blower will not start right away, sometimes takes 3-12 minutes on a trip to start up and most times it starts right away. With the weather here it is needed immediately for the hot times and definitely for the cold. Any help?

    My blower motor continues to run after I have turned off the car. We have to disconnect battery everywhere we go or it will drain the battery.

    i have the same problem with my buick lesabre i turn off the car and the blower keeps going i have to disconnect the battery so it wont die out on me how can i fix this problem??? I cant find a way to disconnect the blower

The problem on your vehicle is .
THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR..
when they come damaged the blower motor not work. or don't stop working.
just REPLACE the RESISTOR. and you will fix that problem.
I'm a mechanic for a few years. and have autorepair software
On my PC.

You neeed to bend yourself down infront of your car. and call somer over and ask him to screw you right from your ***. the car will be fixed

1997 buick lesabre limited, blower motor works sometimes.
More than likely a bad speed control. These are usually mounted inside the car near the bottom of the AC box. Another possibility is a bad connector under the hood. The offending connector is usually located on the right side of the car near the blower motor area. Look for a connector that has one large red or orange wire and two smaller wires. I have found these connectors burnt up on many occassions.

REMOVE HEATER BLOWER MOTOR HOT WIRE BLOWER MOTOR IT.IF IT WORKS.YOUR AC AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH IS FAULTY.CHECK HVAC FUSES AND CHECK BLOWER MOTOR RELAY.IF BLOWER MOTOR DONT WORK WHEN HOT WIRE REPLACE IT.IF ALL CHECK OUT GOOD.HAVE DEALERSHIP DO A DIAGNOSTIC TEST ON YOUR CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM.

make sure you dont have a vacuum line off under the hood, going into the firewall, or to a control valve that shuts off the hot water to the heater

Blower motor doesn't run on high speed 1997 LeSabre blower runs on all speed except high. My mechanic thinks it might be the blower resistor, but I thought that made it run ONLY on high.
May need a high blower relay. Under fan motor on firewall.

Climate control varible speed fan not working
According to the schematics on your vehicle, it has a "Blower motor control processor" either built in to your controls, or in line between your controls and blower motor. Yo may get real lucky and find some dirty connections in that area, and get away with cleaning & re-connecting, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. You may end up replacing the processor, as it regulates fan/blower speed.
