Need wire diagram for a 1990 3.1 fuel injectors. And the test for the brain and the wires to the brain.changed crank senser , no power to injectors or intermitent just not rite.

Crank but no start


What make , model an year vehicle ? Could be a relay problem , power hold relay for ford , ignition 1 relay for GM vehicles or ASD - auto shut down relay for jeep , dodge , Chrysler vehicles . Asian vehicles have them too , Honda - main relay powers fuel injectors , coils etc.... Do you know how to do basic automotive electrical testing ? Check for voltage ? You would need to look at a wiring diagram for your vehicle , see which wire powers the coil an injectors etc...test for B+ voltage ! Videos on you tube showing how to test ignition , fuel etc..

It is cranking it has no gas coming out the injector


Checking the fuel pressure, you have to install the gauge at the fuel filter, no fun. If you have a test light, use it to test the injector plug. Put one end on each side of the plug wires, crank the engine, if it blinks on and off it is good. Replace the injector. If not, check fuel and injector fuses. If they are good, Then you will need an electrical diagram to chase some wires before you replace the computer. Checking for power and grounds At the computer plug.

88 chevy 350 with no fuel pump and no injector pulse


The fuel pump circuit and injector circuits are fed by two different fuses.
The fuel pump relay and injectors are controlled by the computer. Have you checked both ECM fuses for power ?

Changed the fuel pump and filter...still won't start


Check the injector circuit. There should be a fuse for the injectors. Each injector has a power wire and a ground wire. The power wire should show current when key is on.
Your fuel pressure should show around 50 psi with key on. Is it?
How to check the injector ground circuit: Use a test light. Clip the lead of the test light to the positive battery post, and use the probe into the ground terminal of an injector connector (the connector is unplugged). Now observe the test light while someone cranks the car. If injector ground circuit is working right, the test light will be blinking-meaning the computer is correctly grounding the injector circuit for a split-second each time the light blinks. If no light, check ground wire from injector to computer. If light does not blink but is steady, computer failure.

1999 ranger wont start


If that was my vehicle I would not have changed one part

I would have gotten out my wiring diagrams & walked thru a
logical sequence of testing what I had & didn't have, as far
as crank sensor output,fuel pressure,injector pulse,etc

Seeing a how pcm's seldom fail ,your just throwing parts at it
& not testing a thing

You need the wiring diagrams to see & learn how the various
systems work

You can actually trigger injectors,coils,relays,etc if you can
use diagrams, test light,meter & jumper wires properly,otherwise
you need professional help

What causes injector not firing gas?


FUEL INJECTOR NOT FIRING COULD BE FAULTY FUEL INJECTOR.HOOK A NOID TEST LIGHT TO FUEL INJECTOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR. CRANK THE ENGINE WATCH THE NOID TEST LIGHT SHOULD BE BLINKING WHILE ENGINE TURN OVER.IF TEST NOID LIGHT STEADY PCM FAULTY NOT FIRING THE FUEL INJECTOR.IF FUEL INJECTOR DONT BLINK OR LIGHT UP.YOU HAVE OPEN WIRING CIRCUIT TO THE FUEL INJECTOR CONNECTOR.

The car runs for a while then cuts off it has 207 miles on it and runs like it has a mis in it . i have already changed the plugs wires and now im at a stand still between the crank senser and the fuel...


Usually a fuel filter will make it run bad and lack power, not just cause it to die. I'm thinking crank sensor. But usually a bad crank sensor won't cause it to miss. Usually when they are bad it will either run or it won't or it will just die and not start back up. The miss might be another problem.

WON'T START ENGINE JUST TURN OVER JUST CHANGE SPARK PLUG ROTOR DISTRIBUTOR CAP / SPARK WIRES


My first guss would be a fuel pump, just would have to verify that when you first turn on the ignition to crank you can either hear the fuel pump turn on in the tank or not, if you cannot hear the buzz or whine noise from the pump in the tank you need a fuel pump. Fuel pumps are a very common problem with these trucks.

2005 F250 won`t start


You can get the wiring diagram at www.alldatadiy.com and it will have all the codes and will have the information to test before you order the parts, also have you replaced the fuel pump? fuel sock? it also has two pumps a primary and the secondary check for fuel rail pressure, to test injector remove injector wire and test with digital ohm meter test the power post of the injector to ground. if it read 5 ohms or less it is ok. Have you checked the glow pulgs and glow plug timer is it stuck on removing power from injectors, need more information to give you a better answer.
