Remove the stearing wheel, get a spring compressor made for steering coloums (they sell them at pepboys for$10)  remove the lock, then the blinker assambly by 3 screws and then one on the switch. if its in the switch its self and not the lock cyclinder, drop the steering coloum down and it on top of the colum with a rod going to it

Ihave a 1995 GMC Jimmy. Lost power to the fuse block for the power windows and the heater blower. checked the circuit breaker and all the fuses and all the fusable links I could find. I'm not getting power...

I had a similar problem in my jeep . it drove me nuts until I figured out it was the ignition switch. Not the ignition lock where you put the key but the ignition switch. Not sure about your jimmy, but it should be on top of the steering column under the dash.

I have a 95 gmc jimmy and it does not start . put a new batt and starter . still get nothing when i turn the key can it be the ignition mod. or does this truck have a main fuse for the ignition???

There is an ignition switch located under the dash on your steering column that you may want to check. Listen for an electric switch click when you turn the key on, if you do not hear that then replace this switch.

My clock and my direction/temp. gauges have stopped working?

Check fuses first. Note: fuses under dash or end of dash on the drivers side or under the hood. Also, possible ignition switch.

Fuel prblem

the computer controls the fuel injectors.they should measue about 1.4 ohms each.
put fuel directly into the throttle body and see if it will start.
check the wiring to the safety netral switch and all the grounds.
make sure that the ecu is seeing an input from the ignition switch.otherwise it will not turn on the pump.it is a complex setup and you need a wiring diagram
