Need to know where the crank shaft sencor is located on ram 1500 2wd 5.7 liter hemi need to replace

probably not the fuel pump because it has pressure to start. run the fault codes and check for a problem crank/cam shaft position sensor

What is the condition of the yoke part. Is it still functional? Try getting one on eBay, like this part:

problem could be the faulty speed sensor or wiring to the speed sensor connector could be disconnected or damaged.

I thinc the sensor needs inspecting-you need a repair book or go to chilton online for exact location

For ALL 2004 Dodge RAM (1500, 2500, and 3500) (2WD and 4WD) 5.7L V8 Hemi:

Plug..6-5-7-2-1-8-4-3

This should have been located at the top of the your Intake Manifold.

It is located on the "underside" of the hood where that little lamp is located.not on the engine compartment but on the literal hood. It is called the Ambient Temperature sensor.TAC. There is another name for it now but it is the same thing.

behind the main crankshaft pully you need to remove the crank bolt and use a puller to remove the pulley to get at it please rate -jeff
