- Ocassionally the engine will sound like it's out of gas but I just filled it up yesterday. Drove the truck during the day with no problem and then when I wanted to go somewhere it wouldn't start. Again,it sounds like it's out of gas. 4th time this happened but the mechanic down the block checked it when I got it running and couldn't find anything.- GuestOct 05, 2008
- I was turning the corner @ aprox. 10 miles an hour and once i completed my turn the engine just shut down. No sputters no warning!! I tried to get the car to start with no luck ,it sounded like it wannted to but it just did not want to turn over.- rhazzi72Yes

check the timing belt... and check the fuse for the fuel pump... it's usually under the hood... and most likely... it's a 15 amp fuse, my cousin has a 2004 montana... and well... his wouldn't start either... come to find out... all 10 wires going to the fuel pump were either eaten by his dogs... or field rats, any way... to make a long story short... i stripped... spliced... and taped them as best as i could, i told him to turn it over... no go... come to find out there's a fuse for the fuel pump... luckly... the horn had the same 15 amp fuse... i took it out... popped it in where the fuel pump fuse was... and it's ran ever since... so check the all fuse boxes for a fuel pump fuse. good luck man
