It is advisable to have someone with a hydraulic lift or underground bay available to reduce injury. You will need to get underneath your vehicle and locate the transmission. With the engine running; cycle through each gear. With the engine warm there will be a check valve or fill plug. You will be able to remove the fill plug and if there is transmission fluid that comes out in a steady stream; the transmission fluid is not low. If transmission fluid doesn't drizzle out then you will need to have a fluid transfer hand pump available to put some transmission fluid back in. You should have a stream of fluid coming out when enough is put in. Good luck!

You will have to have the car scanned with an appropriate scanner
that can read traction control and abs system. It most likely has a bad wheel speed sensor but you'll need to get it checked to know for sure.

Brand doesn't matter as long as it is ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) Should take in between 3 and four quarts. thats a guess cause i personally never work on chevys.

listen for fuel pump when u turn key to on [not start] should hear a hum-check for pressure at fuel port -if pressure need to start checking sensors a bad crankcase position sensor--camshaft position sensor --bad egr valve--can shut down and not allow start those components sometimes dont throw a code
