Oil leaking from value covers, had timing belts changed and oil pressure is high.

Hey Joe,
Are you sure it's the hydraulic oil low pressure or is it the engine oil low pressure light? Check the engine oil for being low, over full, filter change, right type of oil, leaks, air filter, spark plug, clean air intake, battery getting a good charge, if that stuff is ok, then find your oil pressure switch and change that out.
But it if it is the hydraulic oil light, check for leaks, that is a high pressure system so don't put your hand by hydraulic leaks use cardboard or something to check for leaks, a pin hole leak can cause severe damage to your skin from a high pressure injection from fluid.

most manufacturers recommend a timing belt change at 100.00 klms as this is the optimum period that the belt manufactures warrant their product for
there are factors that will reduce this period such as continued high rpms, dusty conditions, idler bearing failure and oil leaks
Oil is the biggest destroyer of rubber timing belts and it comes from cam shaft seals , hydraulic belt tensioner leaks and crank shaft seals
basically if you keep an eye on the cover and look for oil and dust marks then any time after 90.000 klms would be an ideal time to consider the belt change

Check that the cover gasket is in fact still under the cover and hasn't slipped inside when being fitted . Remove the cover and reposition the gasket using an adhesive to hold it in place while refitting

possibly oil pressure switch which has one wire going to it near oil filter or split oil pump gasket or crank seal, might have to remove timming belt cover and crank while cover is off to locate leak

Better to change it as it's high pressure line and it'll keep leaking oil.

YOU NEED TO REPLACE DRIVE BELT BEFORE IT BREAKS. IF CAR SMOKES HEAVY WHITE YOU A HEAD GASKET LEAK.IF CAR SMOKES BLUE SMOKE ALL THE TIME YOU HAVE WORN OUT PISTON RINGS OR VALVE GUIDE AND VALVE SEALS.

change the pcv valve and get the oil filter checked. Sometimes the oil filter will block and the oil pump will over pressurize the engine. See a mechanic Soon!!!
