Question about 2003 Ford F150 Regular Cab
5.4 triton motor makes noise like the PS pump is shot but noise is coming from the right side of the engine. PS functions normally. Removed serpentine belt to test if CAM chain is causing noise. Noise went away. Can bad tensioner or idler pulley bearings make a similar noise as a bad PS pump? Maybe the AC compressor? AC works fine and noise does not change when AC compressor engages. Pitch of noise changes with RPM. Ideas? I am currently stationed in germany and dont have the option of
My ac never worked after i replaced so i gave up and dont turn it on. so why the loud noise around that area and belt came off
