Regulators are direct vacuum. they have to be in a port that is directly to the intake manifold. they can have other sensors in the line with them, but that line needs to be in the intake somewhere.

Need a diagram of were each vacuum hose goes on a 1994 Isuzu pickup truck

All Isuzu vehicles in 1994 were shipped with a VACUUM ROUTING DIAGRAM sticker. permanentely affixed to the engine compartment of the vehicle. Vacuum routing varies from vehicle to vehicle because of variations in optional equipment, and the sticker shipped on the vehicle is essential, as there really is no "standard" vacuum routing.

Do you need live vacuum or not for 1994 isuzu p.u. 2.3 engine

You can get away with not having them, being a 94. But you won't get the best gas mileage it could have. Just make sure all the vacuum ports are blocked.

Got a 91 isuzu p/u w/ 2.3l 4cyl. carb. When I first got it, fuel was leaking into the oil, clutch bad, and starter too. replaced those things along with the fuel pump. The second time I get this vehicle....

Did you pull the vacuum line off the regulator? When the regulator fails, you get more return flow and flow out the vacuum port into the engine.

Intermittent hesitation at about 2200 - 2500 RPM , power loss, like a dirty fuel filter - pickup screen, tackometer ticking 100-200 rpm at a steady speed. Truck has a manual trans.

sounds like a bad fuel pump or fualty aftermarket pump/also i would check the fuel pressure regulator, and for any fuel leaks. if you disconect vacuum line from regulator and check to make sure fuel is not coming out of regulator and vacuum line is good if engine stays running most likely the fuel pump.

How do you change the fuell pump on a 1994 Isuzu Pickup truck?

The fuel pump is mounted to the underside of the intake manifold where it bolts onto the cylinder head (real pain to get to). If you remove the fuel pump there is a plastic spacer between the pump and the manifold (DO NOT LOOSE IT).
Good luck
