Heater on nissan almera

That noise is the heater and AC air temperature control electric blend door motor trying to move a duct door that is sticking due to heat warping. You will need to remove the entire dash assembly and replace the blend door. This door is located between the AC core and the heater core and "blends" the air from each (hot from heater core and cold from AC core) to give the desired air temperature,.

Is the blend door motor hard to replace on a 2006 crown vic

This a 5.5 hr job, it is hard to replace the dash needs to be pulled, i just did one and not fun, customer would not have heat at times and it was blend door motor , this is located at the top of the heater box and you need to pull dash back to replace and it is still a little hard getting to one of the screws in the rear of the actuator, the heater box does not need to be removed but dash pulled out.

2000 FORD Expedition both heater hoses get warm. gets heat at first then turns cold front and back. I flushed the heater core and didnt get any gunk out. Is this the heatercore or is this the blend door

if the heater hoses are both hot its a blend door actuator, and possably the blend door its self, the way to make sure is to feel around under the dash . feel the black hvac box and if its feels warm then the heater core is good, you will have to remove the dash to replaced the bland door actuator and blend door ,i reccomend you replace both beacause its alot of work to remove the dash so make sure both components are replaced while you are in there

Afternnon, just wondering about the best way to locate the blend doors in the hvac box without ripping out the dash on my 2000 jeep grand cherokee. Thanks in advance. Duane

y9ou can gain access to the driver side blend door actuator by removing the glove box. The actuator will be in the left corner of the glove box opening. If you remove the actuator you will be able to turn the pin. If you can turn it 360 degrees the blend door is broke.

If your lucky its only the drivers side. If you get the repair kit from chrysler it will come with instructions with pictures on how to replace the blend door without pulling the HVAC unit/Dash. If the passenger side is broken the HVAC unit will need to be removed.

Heater treater (google them) also have a metal blend door replacement and instructions online on how to replace them without pulling the HVAC housing.

Replacing a blend door accuatior on a 2002 ford explorer

replacing a blend door actuator is a tedious job. You have to remove the steering column taking xtra careful for the wirings. Complete removal of the dashboard, remove the instr. cluster, radio , glove box.Remove the console box, discharge the freon ,disconnect the heater hoses, ac hoses. After removing the dash you can gain access of the ac/heater phlenum. Remove the blend door actutor.bolts and screws are sometimes in a concealed location so xtra patience is needed.

2003 mercury grand marquis LS heater does notr blow hot air, blower blows but cold air comes what is the problem

The blend door is stuck in cold position. That usually happens because the blend door actuator has failed.

You will need to test and replace the blend door actuator.

To replace the actuator you will need to take apart the dash and remove completely the instrument panel,d isconnect the connector, remove the four screws, remove the temperature blend door actuator and replace it.

The replacement is not a job for beginners, since you have to take apart the dash to access the actuator.

Regards.

MY TEMP BLEND MODUAL IS BAD WHERE IS IT LOCATED IN THE DASH OF A

the part u are referring to is the temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is about center of air ducting, in order to access the part u must remove the entire dash assembly, not a job for a DIYer, 12-15 hour job.

You will need to replace the air temp control blend door actuator motor, it is located behind the dash near the heater core and AC evaporator core inside the air ducting system, the dash must be removed in most cars to replace this part or service the blend door which may be warped and jammed.

Blend door heater all hot

No need to do that, behind the glove box is the blend door motor, it most often breaks the shaft of the blend door, which causes a costly fix, and it will break it again. There are sites that tell you how to remove the motor, drill a small hole and put a pin in the shaft so that the motor will still turn the broken connector, I did this and my blend door is still working 5 years later. I have heard stories of people paying up to $700.00 to have the original blend door replaced, and it breaks again.
